Housing Solutions wished to develop a new housing scheme to pilot a progressive form of private rented tenure. Their target market for the residential element was young professionals and perhaps graduates sharing and catering for them with innovative thinking for a type of apartment with two bedrooms of similar size both with en suite bathrooms, one in a ‘Jack and Jill’ arrangement. A significant amount of space is given over to common amenity which is important for encouraging the residents to live in the whole scheme and not just behind their front doors.
