Our client wished to develop a build-to-rent (BTR) residential scheme on a vacant site in South London. Its location suggested the opportunity to create a landmark tower terminating a view looking westwards along a nearby high street. While the bulk of the accommodation is on the lower levels, our design proposes a slender, elegant structure on the prominent corner. Penthouses would enjoy extensive views over South London while all residents benefit from the communal roof garden at the 7th floor. Initial expectations were for around 40 units but our proposal suggests 70 units will be possible.
