The Liberal Club, which has a prominent location at the approach to the centre of High Wycombe, no longer needs as much space. The opportunity is being taken to use the upper floor as a repository for Wycombe’s chair collection - historically, the area is well know for chair production. Our scheme adds a new entrance, service yard, lobby and study room. The proposal creates a new elevation screening the side of the Liberal Club to give the new facility a civic presence at the entrance to the town’s arts quarter.
